Gross

So week 3 Champix I’ve noticed I’ve cut down the number of smokes. Today I had a smoke and I almost puked 🤢 wasn’t a great feeling least to say only had a couple drags and put it out. My question what do I do to take my mind and keeps my hands busy instead of having a smoke? I have found lollipops work sometimes but need more ideas struggling mentally at the moment to let them go completely with tomorrow my set quit date.

hi cole
I found that that chewing gum occupied the need to replace constantly putting a cigarette to the mouth. ALSO The nicorette inhalator served a purpose of not only supplying small amounts of nicotine instantly to the brain similar to a smoke, but, it also replicates the same hand to mouth actions like smoking. Its more costly than the other NRT's ($33 for 20)
Its an idea.
If you go back and read other stories you can get a better idea of other methods that people are using to replace and give up the smokes!
I wish you well for your Quit Day.

So much wise advice given Cole. I do hope you take it. Im not sure how long you have been with us, but you should have been practicing all of this and getting your head into the right mode for these past three weeks. It can not be stressed enough that a quit even if successful, will NOT last if you do not change your mentality and behavior. It's never too late to learn. You just make the process longer and harder on yourself.
Smoking is as easy as you make it. Mindset is key. Think positive. Knowledge is Power!
