Going okay

I haven't smoked at work for 2 weeks (even after I failed and bought the packet after quitting on 7 May, at least I didn't start smoking at work again).
I think for those that are struggling to quit, maybe giving up in one area of your life might be a way to start? I know we all have to find our own path but I would have been (and was) grateful to hear any and all ideas so that might just work for someone that hasn't thought of it.
So, since I did buy that pack on the weekend after 7 May and smoked them I haven't really felt like another smoke. I got through the weekend okay. I was a bit worried going home from work yesterday - being Monday again - that I would feel like a smoke, but it was okay.
I hope it stays like this! Perhaps this is the time that other people have talked about that I couldn't understand how it could be so easy, and kept thinking to myself then "yeah if it was that easy everyone would quit". Perhaps it just needs to be your right time.
I am certainly NOT suggesting that you smoke for 30 years like I did. The sooner people quit, or better still never start, the better. But if you start again after quitting, don't panic and think you will never quit, just try again.

Just about everyone tried to quit more than once myself included. Good luck.
