Hi all :-)
Well today I have hit the 4 day Mark!
This morning I woke up at around 6.30am & as soon as I got out of bed I started to feel sooo nauseous :-( I really felt like I could throw up! This feeling lasted till about 8am & then i had some breakfast & went for an hour long walk & felt much better by 10am! Apart from the nausea this morning, today hasn't been too bad. I'm still using patches & still trying to keep a positive outlook :-) was fairly busy today so didn't have too many cravings but there was certain times where my brain thought "usually id be having a smoke right now!" But I pushed through & resisted :-) tonight after dinner was abit tough, as soon as I finished doing the dishes, my brain automatically said "ahhh time for my after meal smoke" & my body actually moved to go outside! I then realised "oh, I don't smoke anymore".. I must admit for about 5 mins I felt rather sad but like i have said in previous posts "alan carrs easy way to stop smoking" theories always pop into my head & i remember all the reasons why i quit & want to stay quit :-) so i went & had a shower & put a patch on straight away.. & now I'm feeling ok again :-) cravings roughly 3/10 today.

I's like a roller coaster. One day it's not bad and the next cravings hit you with vengeance but the longer you stay off of it the easier it gets. I quit for 9 month 12 days ago and by and large I rarely get nicotine cravings but today I am around 5 or 6 out of 10. Not touching it. Good luck to you and stay strong. We can beat this. Cheers.
