Mantras

If you are struggling with the withdrawal of nicotine or even the old practice and routine and habit of smoking. Here are some of the sayings of EX- smokers that we all can use in our thoughts whenever a thought of temptation enters our minds.
I dont smoke.
Not one puff ever. (N.O.P.E)
I am boss (Not you nico-Demon- Or monster)
I am strong.
One day at a time.
Tomorrow will be better.
I dont only need it, I dont want to smoke!
I feel proud (to have given up)
Its not that difficult if you truly believe in yourself.
Best thing I ever done.
I was a social outcast but not anymore
They are just on the top of my head and there are plenty more mantra's that can be used to our advantage whenever we are in doubt.
ITS A MIND GAME
nothing more.

BATTLE WON
ITS all in the mind.
I'm so glad you have your mind on the job.
Take care Sis.

Our mind is a powerful thing.
So pleased yo see a post from our lovely lady HAPPINESS...
Take good care of youself and keep warm and cosy. We si missed you and we all were worried for you🙋♀️🐟

Thank you Pisces I love your attitude.
Its taken me along time for the penny to drop and last year is one frustrating year I need to forget!
I have remembered that when I was between the ages of 21 and 25, I easily Quit for the duration of my football season. I was an athlete, but I completely forgot that I had the mind power to do that. It was such a long time ago.
I know its not a total and complete Quit, and I did have a cig with the team after the game with drinks sometimes. But, its good to remember that I once had a disciplained mind all those years ago.
Also I have remembered how I had Quit for a 2 year period over 10 years ago and that has helped my mindset too.
I havent got the Allen Carr book yet, But, these smokes are so disgusting to me now I have to put it out after about 2 puffs. So I'm not quite there yet but its getting very close.

Hi Puffnomore, I love your post about mantras, great reminders for us all. I received my book yesterday, but was too busy in the kitchen last night cooking home made pasties 😋 I am now curled up eagerly anticipating this interesting read. I am sure the book will be awesome🤞

Hi Leeann, I love minced pasties with Worcester sauce and cooking good food is another one of my distracting tools I am already doing.
Thanks for your post about Happiness. Your so right, she is amazing and when I get the book I'm going to sink myself into allens every word and believe what he says is absolutely correct.

Yes Happiness. I will follow Allens method to a tee.
I'll do it the 'Easyway'
Wishing you well through your rehab and to your full recovery.

Puff you just do it your way. You will enjoy the book and you will understand and embrace the learning and mindset that Allen Carr lets us see.
Do it for YOU! Not football, not pressure from other lived ones, not pressure from society or anything else.
Do it for YOU! You are such a good guy and so worth it. You are so valued and special to us all. So level headed.
Cooking and being creative would suit you. It takes time and patience and you will love tasting new foods.
Try Jamie Oliver's 5 ingredients. Such an easy straight forward cookbook ... He also has a TV series called fast and fresh. He cooks recipes from this Cookbook.
My sons love this cookbook.
I love Cornish Pasties with worcestershire sauce too. Load up shepherd's pie with it too.😁🤪
Look to the future Puff..
It's a new year in a new decade. It's time🐟

Thank you for the suggestions and nice comments.

Hey Puff. I know what you're going through because I'm just about to give up too.

I just need someone to help me through it. Your words were really inspiring Puff.

Hi there Ears, It'll certainly make life more enjoyable once we find ourselves free of the smoke haze!

Hi guys.
We are going on holidays tomorrow. So I will say bye for awhile. Apart from today and the rest of the night, I will probably not be online for quite a while? Ive got every thing sorted. Mindset, No fear, Food, Distractions, Mantras, even so looking forward to the pangs of the addiction hitting me physically.
Thanks to all that have tried to offer help.
I am supremely optimistic and confident this time.
Thank you!
