Well one year to the day since I quit. Not going to say it's been all good.Slipped up over Xmas and had 3 smokes.I Vomited immediately and felt really I'll for the whole day.Nothing since then but some days I feel like one but wouldn't. Nearly 50 years of smoking and my lungs are clear and I have more money lol.I used strong Nicotine patches for 3 months and that was it.I know how everyone is feeling here when you first begin your journey. One day at a time, just keep trying hard as it is.My sincere support to you all.

I enjoyed reading about your journey Sandracheryl. Congratulations on being a happy non-smoker. I notice that in reading the first posts of people, it is those who write positive thoughts about their impeding journey that are the ones who succeed. I don't think that is a coincidence, do you? Despite your nausea in the beginning, your accepted the challenge face on and never wavered.

You mentioned about out of date nicotine patches...people beware and check the dates!

Isn't it amazing how quickly our sense of smell returns, the breathing improved and the short of breathlessness subsides. My skin too looks years younger. We can now definitely state that we are not getting older....but better!

Thanks for posting and don't be a stranger. Put those slip ups behind you and stay the course!
