Triggers are hard

It is so hard to find a way to remove yourself from the smoking triggers. I booked a cruise for 3 days and left the smokes behind. This was a completely foreign environment to me and helped me not only with the triggers but also the inability to buy smokes onboard as this was a domestic cruise and no duty free shopping allowed.

That's one way to get away from it all, and do mean all...lol. Good for you, and i hope you enjoyed your trip. What is your status quo to date? Did you go cold turkey? I do hope this journey will be smooth sailing as well. You can do it. It sounds like you are off to a great start. All the Best!

I did quit cold turkey and haven’t stumbled so far, thank you for asking Happiness.

Still having lots of conversations and arguments in my head though.

Well you are smoke-free and nicotine free both so congratulations! How long has it been for you? The arguments in your head will stop once you accept. Eventually you do. One way or the other. I already know which will win in your case. You didn't make excuses because of the trip , you think positive. You've got this!
