Day 11 and find this battle so hard,using gum and not smoked but can't get rid of these cravings .

Any tips on how to dig deep and not give in 😫

Hi Turnip, day 65 here dont give up. I see you live in Sydney so money should be a great short term motivator to give up. In the short time i have stopped smoking my smokes have already gone up $5 a packet. I kept saying to myself 1 month of feeling crap but then a life filled with wealth and good health. I know it is hard I smoked a pack a day for 34 years, just take deeps breaths and drink water. You can do it...good luck

Hi Turnip, You are doing the right thing by chewing gum. It gets better. In the beginning of my quit I played mind games. I imagined that there is a valve between my mouth and my lungs . Whenever I had a great urge to smoke I imagined that I turned the valve off and no smoke could get into my lungs. Silly but it helped. Good luck and stay strong.

Thanks for you support guys 😊 Day 16 and getting less cravings and feeling a lot better in knowing I have NOT smoked 485 cigarettes 😳Wow in 16 days now that's a reality check let alone $600 saved 🤗

Still chewing gum and drinking heaps of water, I smoked a pack a day for 40yrs so one day at a time but feeling positive 😊
