Just 2222 Good to Be True!
I just logged on and my days quit just jumped out at me. Today is 2222 days, just over 6 years since I took the leap of faith and joined the ranks of the non-smokers. Who would have thought it! Certainly not me!
Like most, I had tried to quit before but it wasn't until I found quit smoking sights and the belief that I could beat the addiction that made this the last time. We only need to quit once and then be ever so thankful that we escaped nicotine's clutches.
Over 40 years a slave and making all kinds of excuses as not to quit, as not to have to endure cravings .
Congratulations Happiness. I think we may have been in same class. I been quit 8 yrs now and don't look back. I wouldn't be able to afford smoking now anyway. Good luck God Bless us all.
Hi Happiness. Must say, this site works if you want it too. Good opportunity to share & reinforce your thoughts and to actually believe them and live them. Am very familiar with your posts. I am up to about 9 1/2 years and over $146000 saved from the ash tray. Not a bad pay rise either. May you and other long time stayers & newby quitters have pleasant ah ha moments.
