Long awaited fresh start

schedule 4 Sep 2022

I started smoking at the age of 19 and I am currently 29. In these 10 years I have tried multiple times to quit this bad habit but somehow or the other could not give it up completely. So much so, that once I did not touch a cigarette for 7 months before succumbing to its craving and the cycle started all over again. All these previous attempts were solely private in nature and I never sought any support or help from others which I am changing this time. I have been following the stories published here for some time and love the way everybody supports each other. I hope I will receive the same and will be able to quit for good. Actually no, I already have quit yesterday (3rd sept, 2022) and will stay so with your support :)

Hi there fresh-air!

Yes. Many of us do remember the feeling of crumbling in to temptation's from craving's.

It can happen, even 7 month's down the track. And even years without a single Puff.

I like to think that the 3 x threes sort it out for most of us! 3 days, Three weeks or 3 month's most people have solved the puzzle of addiction or habit by that stage.

Dont worry. Reset. And tackle the problem one craving at a time and commit to stay Smoke Free!
