Getting started

Day 1 of quitting. Been planning it for sometime by slowly cutting back. No coffee today, and go for a long walk.

Congratulations on starting your journey to freedom Goodlands. It really is as hard or as EASY as you make it. When we look forward to something, rather than dread it, the whole process is easier. I found quitting smoking to be a lot easier than those past couple of days you just experienced by cutting down on smoking. I jumped ship and just quit smoking before my start date.
The discomfort if any only lasts 3-4 days , and then it is not the nicotine addiction but the psychological phase of acceptance of being a non-smoker that most people face. This too can be overridden with positive thoughts and embracing your new status rather than fearing it.
Fear is our enemy. But you are here and you are following through.
There is the fear of failure, but we will inevitably win if that is what you WANT.
Our minds have to make the adjustments, just as our bodies do.
Make up you mind......or make an excuse.
Think positive. Quitting smoking can be EASY. You will love it!

Stay strong,
No more excuses.
All successful Quitters have one thing in common, OUR LAST Cigarette!.
Its uncomfortable for most.
Easy for some.
Stay strong.
U will beat it.
All the best.

All the best on your way to freedom.. As someone told me on my beginnings, however it will be, you are doing it just one time and never again.. And that's true, do it once and forever.. stay strong and become inspiration for others..
