Day 3..seems easier than yesterday,however still early in the day. Hard times seems to be for me late arvo when I would enjoy a wine or a beer and a ciggie. Gonna stay focussed and strong and get through today. My first target/goal is seven days so I am on track. Good luck to those embarking on this journey and congrats to those who have succeeded. I choose not to smoke and will not put one in my mouth NO MATTER WHAT.

Your determination is to be admired Collystop but if you look around you will find a lot of chatter about the Mindset. This is an exercise of retraining our minds. It sounds easy but it is not easy for some. Others take to it no problem. If you are open minded and take the time to read the book by Allan Carr, free, right here it will likely make the journey easier. It is about 100 pages about nicotine and you , why we smoke and how smoking gave us the illusion that it gave us courage, relaxation etcetera.
The truth really can set you free. Anyone can quit smoking if they CHOOSE to. Embrace the journey and you too will be successful.

In the first few days it was almost living from minute to minute. It gets much easier.
As soon as I read the book my whole outlook on NICOTINE and smoking changed and I let go.
Im on Day 35 now. Only get reminders about smoking occasionally. Im FREE of being addicted and controlled by a cigarette.
