Quitting tomorrow

Hi guys tomorrow is the day I’m stopping this habit. I have thrown out all cigarettes and everything. I’m a little bit nervous because my previous attempts have failed. But I really want to stop this habit.
I’m cold turkey and a patch during the day is what I’m going to do. Does anyone recommend anything else to help me get through the first few days?

Lanaricki joining you , tomorrow is it, chucking all smokes out , cold turkey, sick of wheezing and being out of breath and all the evil it’s doing to me.
Going to keep busy in the day and use a mouth spray at night
Tried before , but I’ve got my head thinking right and am going to knock it on the head
Will be interested to check on your progress, I will get inspiration from your good work to . To succsess

Welcome Bonneville. Hello again Lanaricki. You have been given great advice so far, so heed the words and keep a positive attitude. I see you have started the quit earlier than expected that can only be interpreted as a good thing. Welcoming this change is your life and anticipating great rewards makes this journey so much easier. Bon Voyage to you both.

We can do this Lanaricki and Bonneville. and you are on the best site as everyone is so encouraging. We are all there with you. Best comment I found to help is ''smoking is not going to control me anymore''. What are we getting out of puffing our health and money away.... hour after hour, day after day... smelling like ashtrays. and focus on treating yourself each week you go without a smoke. Wanting is the first step :)

Using Zyban has really helped for me. No cravings in those first few days, just urges, and those can only be fought in the mind. You can do it.

Hi lanaricki, you do whatever you can and need to do to rid yourself of this terrible addiction, cold turkey, patches, champix, zyban, it depends on the individual, as long as it’s legal and not detrimental to your health, read read and read some more, everyone’s journey is different, but the destination is the same, freedom, health, pride, you will love it when you arrive...

Some people Quit easily. Some have to fight. And If your in between, you can be free after just 72 hours. Get your health, pride and bank account in order by declaring that smoking is NOT PART of your life now.
I am on patches but also a plastic cigarette in haler
seems to help a little more then patches alone
hang in there mate
I am with you as I have just stopped myself and will never again alow myself to do something so dumb as smoke.
