To Bothania and other new users
A newcomer Bothania asked for advice under another members story, hint, etc and i clicked on her name but there is no other story to address her personally . If it is your own page, you will be notified of a response by e-mail, and not have to search where you left the question. This is why i LOVE this site. You can follow other members stories, see when they started, info like their nrts, problems, concerns, etc... a way of comparing your own quit, and getting advice. If you should have a question please post it with appropriate title so that we are aware there is a new story and welcome /advise you and others with similar concerns can see what is recommended.
So welcome to the site, hope you enjoy, learn things to make your quit easier and achieve the ultimate goal. ;)

I have dived into conversations here and there without starting my own forum or questions. Is that the main thing youre talkin about? Because i'm certainly no expert in I.T. Its a fact that I still shun social media and maintain that FACEBOOK was a fad and will die out. HEHE, how wrong was I! lol

Hi PuffnoMore. You are doing just fine with comments and my comment had nothing to do with you per se, unless you want to ask a question to the forum. If you arrived and did not post your own story that is fine, it is just that we do not know there is a new member to welcome. When i come on this site i go to all stories, and the new ones come up. If you had made a comment on someone elses page, I would not be aware of it . Since you responded on my page i get an e-mail. I will respond to you on a page you opened and you will get an e-mail. (you would not get this response here by e-mail, because it is my page) I hope this may help you or others to navigate and ask questions. Keep up the quit and keep on commenting!
So PuffNoMore, you don't seem to have a story, so I cannot "follow " you nor send a direct reply to your e-mail. If you should like to do this, scroll to the top of this page to Browse Stories which takes you to selection. Choose All Stories and you will see a yellow line which says to share story. Write your story, or ask a question. You can select what category you want to post it under. Hope this helps!

I am navigating the site much better now.
I now realize that i havent started my own page and that I have commented on other peoples page. But I'll keep my comments coming in until I feel comfortable to start my own page.

I'm so glad this was of help to you PuffNoMore and I am sure others may have wondered too. It was my first time on a forum when i joined one last month. I soon discovered there was no way to ask someone a direct question and get a reply. I don't generally go back to visit a page as i am doing because of my e-mail notification. So this feature is great .
Comment away, and start your own page when you are comfortable. I suggested a page on the other site where you introduced yourself.
Hi, I quit cold turkey on Nov. 8 and the only cold turkey i ever want again is in a sandwich. My hubby quit 2 weeks ago after seeing me do it. He read Allan Carr's book , the Only Way To Stop Smoking Permanently. (The Easy Way) I read the book afterwards and gave a cigarette a funeral on My Day 10.
One line was sufficient, but it gives you an idea of how someone quit, or what stage that may be at to compare your quit to, or be better able to advise. What do you think? Perhaps i should try to start such a page here?
