Drinking Ginseng

After 127 days nicotine free I am drinking all sorts of teas to keep my mouth, my tongue and the back of my mouth busy and lubricated. To be honest, it looks like my smoking habit has been replaced with regular exercise and lots of tea drinking. I've given up coffee for several weeks and am also staying off the booze. I actually don't want to drink anymore and that's my choice and I don't expect others to follow. I think we all know what we can do and what we can't and so I believe that one beer might be harmless for most but dangerous for others, depending on who you are.

I noticed this morning that I felt so much better after sleeping an extra hour or so. I think that while we are recovering from our nicotine addiction we need to sleep enough every day. I get all screwed up and into a bad place when I'm not sleeping enough and I used to solve this dilemma but picking up a cigarette which I now think is madness!

Hey IC,

Now that I know this, I've seen how I've been so oxygen starved for so long but have not been fully aware because I've blurred it all with smoking to get nicotine in my head to release chemicals in my brain to make me feel better during oxygen starvation.

I'm not even smoking now and I can see I need all the oxygen I can get. More power to us and more oxygen for all from not smoking!

I'm so glad I've been looking into how insane our habit really is as it makes it easier to forget about ever wanting to smoke again.
