Today (fingers crossed) I had my last cigarette. I have been on Champix for 2 weeks and as there was 3 cigs left in the pack I smoked them all. That was 4 hours ago. I have a water bottle on my desk and I am swigging from that but find I am very hungry. How do you stop looking for food?

My first two weeks I was looking for food all the time but then realised I would be getting to the size of a house if I kept going so I now get my mind on other things rather than food. Your mind is trying to make you stumble so don't fall into that trap.
When the urge comes again, think of the money you will save by not smoking and dream of the places you will visit on your next holiday and which you will be able to afford sooner than you think.
Keep it up you can do it.

BTW the post by dr feelgood is the first positive post I have ever seen from that person so be proud......lol

Hi sometimes filling yourself up with water stops hunger pains or eat healthy muesli bars. It was only a few days ago I wet all my smokes so I didn't have any around, not even an emergency one as that was always my downfall. Look forward to your posts.

Day 2 and doing Ok. The comments and stories are very helpful. Can't wait til I post a 14 day smoke free tale. I am staying positive and will book myself a treat on day 14, massage or facial or something. Stay strong everybody and Happy Friday!
