I have found working out very helpfull in taking my mind off the dreaded ciggys.
i used to do just 3 days a week but since i stoped smoking i increased it to 5 or six,this also helps with the wieght gain that somtimes comes with stoping.
i'm 52 and after 60 plus days of this i just found a six pack i thought i lost in my late 30s. nice to see my feet again also lol.
Its great to be puffing on fresh air instead of smoke and i feel really good so give it a go it really does help.
