Yay Dean17!!! Yes, join us on this journey of quitting smoking. It really can be a great journey. You'll see. You won't regret it. Setting a quit date allows you time to get your head in the right "mindset". You can be eager and ready to quit when your quit date comes. Many have had an easy quit and you can too.

This site has many, many educational posts. Also posts you will find that matches your situation to a "T". Read on. Also post your progress,... good, bad or indifferent. It really helps to shout out, get it off your mind and share your journey.

You are not alone. You are with a group of people that have the same thing in common. We all have a common goal and that is to get our control back and our freedom back. Hang out here and be proud that you made such a great decision! You can do this!!!

There is no need for fear. We are stronger than nicotine and smoking does nothing for us. We only think smoking does something for us to manufacture reasons to continue. The fact is that we were afraid to quit smoking because we feared failing, we feared the unknown and we feared that we would alway crave smoking for years. You will not crave endlessly for years, not even months. It may be triggered by memories, but just as quickly leave your thoughts unless you dare to debate the issue. You have made your choice, stick with it . We know you can succeed, now is the time to believe that you too can quit smoking like many here. You are giving up nothing and gaining more than you realize.
