I remember the last cigarette I had. I don’t remember enjoying it, and I wanted another one but It was 1201am only quit date so I refrained. The only was I have had success, and I have made 1 month before, is without alcohol. No drinks and no ciggies is easy for me. Now all I have to do is either never drink again, or get a handle on it! Wondering how long I should wait to have a beer, it won’t be day one and maybe I should wait 2 more months to do sure. Feeling great and looking better without both vices.

Congratulations on your first month, Tobz - that's fantastic!

So good to hear that you feel and look so much better, too.

Well done. I hope you're treating yourself to something nice as a reward!

I think the reward will be another month not smoking! I want to turn 40 smoke free in the last week of August!

Hi Toby, you are doing so well. Why not give up the alcohol too? It too is a poison to our bodies and we really don’t need it.
Just saying, if you find it a trigger to smoking....I would quit that too and not take the chance. Keep going, you are doing great

Only you know you best. While I took breaks with smokers others choose to avoid. One beer or ten?

I chose to quit smoking not my friends..

Good for you if you can do both! Take the safe route if in doubt. You will soon feel more in control and decide with more confidence......something else we get back knowing we are capable of overcoming an addiction.
