Today i am completing 6 week of smoke free. I have only realized one thing. every one has his own share of stories and experience. When i look back, I think my inspiration to quit didn't come from the long term benefit. Rather it came from immediate benefits. last time when i attempted my focus remained on how i will be in a better health after one year or 10 years form now. And the whole process looked impossible. that is one of the reason i succumbed in my last effort. This time round i am focusing on the immediate benefits. I am enjoying everyday of freedom. i feel relaxed , better sleep, better appetite, better taste, better smell. and overall i can exercise for much longer without taking a break.
I am just taking each day as it comes. hopefully there would be a day when i completely forget what it was like to smoke. All i can say its a long way to go before i wipe that part of memory. but for the time being i am enjoying my freedom every bit.
Thank You all . My only suggestion one should look in the past to find a way into the future. More on my experience next time.
