Good health

Posted in Reasons to quit 14 Dec 2020

Hi all. So I have and did start smoking again. Very silly I no. But the thing is with every smoke I was having I was very aware of my health and it could take just 1 smoke to.put me back to square 1. I do no my thyroid cancer was not caused with smoking but it sure as h#ll does not help atal. So I realised well I am not enjoying this now because I'm scared of what it is doing to me or what it could do.

I had a doc appointment today and got some blood results and all is clear and everything is looking good. 😁😁😊 I then walked from the docs and thought right I have a second chance to put this habbit to the dirt and be fresh for Xmas and keep my health on the right track. Knowing that everything is ok.

I always felt like I was playing with fire when smoking. It still does stink really bad and I do no it does nothing for me.

I am not weak I can beat this habbit I will not give in to it no more.

It's a really stupid thing to be doing is smoking.

It really is a mind game and my god a powerful 1 at that aswell.

Everyone here always give me great support and I appreciate all the comments and support.

Refresh and here we go again. 👍👍💪💪

    Hi Gemma
    Stick to your guns.
After you get over the hump, you'll be so pleased that you did.

Good for you Gemma. Desire something else more than you want to smoke. We know the threats to ourselves and it never mattered. That was in part because we never believed we could quit smoking. Now you know that we can if we choose to. We are stronger than nicotine......
How would your health issues impact not only your quality of life , but the impact on others?
How could you better use the money to help family or world issues?
Or enjoy life and spend it frivolously earned it and deserve it!
Money can buy happiness to some degree, but it cannot replace health. And here you want to throw away both.
I always thought it happened to the other guy. Now I am winning my war after a stroke and loving every moment. I am not about to throw away my second chance!
