Tomorrow marks my 2 years of being a happy non-smoker. I think the realization that I was an addict of sorts albeit legal made an impact. Trying to better my health in other areas led me to the belief that I could quit smoking. After 4 decades of smoking I finally came to understand how I started and how to end it.
Hence lesson 101.111111 and yes i won, won, won, won. And will keep on into infinity.
I derived this number by the 200 cigarettes I would have smoked over the past 2 years or 104 weeks. I can't imagine the residue of those 20,800 yes over 20 Thousand sticks of poison in just 2 years. I could have continued to slowly killed my cells 7 minutes at a time and wasted over 24000 hours which is 101.11111 DAYS saved from smoking. Even more when you consider that we sleep a third of our lives. Remember, this is just in 2 years!
Yes I think 101.11111 is something we might consider. I shudder to even think about multiplying the numbers for the course of my smoking history. And we wonder...."where did the time go?"
We can't go back in time, but we can make the most of what we have left. We can live and love being happy non-smokers!
