Urges

Hi all I'm not sure why but I'm craving badly as we speak I'm doing all I can to beat this craving but this 1 well it's a hard 1. I so t want 1 and I will not smoke 1 but serious big craving right now.

You are doing so well Gemma. You are strong enough to work through the urges. You actually fell off the horse and got right back on with no problem. A little buck is not going to unsaddle you, you've got the grit to see it through. You have been through so much worse and endured, why would you let it take back control now that you are in control?
Embrace the quit.
Fight for the freedom , your health and remember that it is actually pays you to do so, Look at your savings grow.
Feel great about your accomplishments, you should be very proud. Many only wish they could quit but can't get past the fear to even try.
We make excuses to smoke, and Allan Carr will tell you that's exactly what they are....excuses . Give us one good reason to smoke .....if you can find one and we can give you ten reasons or more why not to.
Don't even debate it. NOPE. You are a non-smoker.
Get on with life and leave the little begger in your cloud of DUST.

Thanks happiness yes it is just excuses I am passed it now I went and started cooking my dinner and then my partner came home from work and we talked about our days and before I knew it I had passed it without realising it was gone 😊

Thanks robin I think I dwelled a little to much on that craving.
But it's never enough to make me go buy some I will not give it.
We are all alot strong than the demon. My health will be thanking me 1 day.

Hi Gemma. I have felt exactly the same tonight. Good work beating it. You are doing a great job.

Hi Gemma as you know because you helped me so much with my urges the other day they will pass. Coming on here when I had my urges helped me and as you know I even posted a comment on your story in hope to get support as quick as I could. Reading through all the past stories and comments helped to keep me occupied till the urges passed so did commenting on people's stories.I rang the quit line and had a chat with them and also organised for a call back session. Your trick with the fresh air worked and instead of saying I feel like a cigarette I say I feel like fresh air. I spent some time the other day with Textas and an A4 piece of cardboard I wrote all the great things I like about being a non smoker on it like hair smells good lungs feel better more money in pocket self confidence etc etc I wrote the quit line number on it and all the things that help keep me a non smoker and stuck on my kitchen carboard . Good on you Gemma for jumping on here to help yourself through the urges. Together in this community we can get through our urges and come through them remaining non smokers. 👯❤️💃

Hi Gemma I should of read through all the comments before commenting myself. I just read your story and was like I have to help Gemma in not picking up a smoke. I posted a comment than went back and read all others. You got it girl 💃 Gemma23 champion urges squashed ❤️have a magical proud day Gemma xo 👯🌅

We have all had these seemingly overpowering urges, but this is just that old Nicodemon wanting some attention, push it aside, kick it in the gutter, and get on with something else. We all have the power to change our lives for the better, relaxing more and doing some more of that deep breathing is very beneficial too. You can do it this time NOPE (not one puff ever)

Thanks everyone
I just went and watered a friend's garden and the 1st thing I saw when I walked I to her garden on her table was a half of a smoke.
And I instant it was like o god I would like to have that.
But I have realise that is where my trigger is when I'm at her house.
But I didn't give it I looked at it and carried on watering her garden and said nope to myself.
It is getting easier everyday. I'm just surprised I have gotten this far and how fast that 4 months has want. It's such a good feeling. 🎉✨🚭🚭
