It’s been 7+ months so far for me. Quitting smoking was one of the biggest life changing decision for me. I didn’t realise how much money, energy and time I was spending just to get that hit of nicotine. In last 7 months even with Covid 19 i was able to pay off 80% of my debt, saved enough to see house mortgage on horizon, switched my job and home (now living independently without any housemate since now i can afford it) and not reaching out to that pack of Viagra.
I know it sounds as dramatic as what they put on cigarette packaging; but it literally changed my life for better. And this feeling of being in control and autonomy I wouldn’t want to give up (retrospectively I switched my nicotine addiction with being in control addiction but i digress :-D)
