No smoking

Posted in Quit experiences 14 Jul 2020

Hi everyone. I am off again for a bit more surgery on Thursday this time on the head 😔😔 we are hoping it is not related to my thyroid problem.

I am been very positive about this.

And times like this I am glad that I am a none smoker now so I can heal alot better and faster than we would as smokers.. 1 month and 2 days down and I'm proud.

I do notice no whizzing and coughing anymore

And not so short of breath

Walking and not trying to catch air

Great improvement for just over a month of no smoking.

Let's hope giving up smoking is going to pay off for me.

Can you please say a few prayers and positive vibes for me for Thursday

I could do with all the support I can get right now. 🤞🤞♥️

    Me and you both Gemma.
I'm off to my surgeons appointment tomorrow arvo to confirm that the biopsy she cut from my tongue is not cancer?
I'm confident its my teeth grinding my tongue and I must say that I'm no longer ashamed or embarrassed for a doctor and nurse to seriously inspect inside my mouth!
Because I Dont stink of smoke breath!

Puffnomore o I really hope so to it's not a cancer there's nothing worse than that sort of scare
I hope all is well and your result if nagitive
They have reassured me that it's not a cancer as it's been there for many years and it's.still very small in size but we do need to find out what it is before i have my treatment for the thyroid.
Very scary but I keep saying to.myself I have given up smoking and that's going to help me in so many ways in the future.
I will be Okie but yes it's not a nice scare to have.
Fingers crossed all is well for us both. had the lump for long? Before they cut it out

My thoughts and prayers will be with you Gemma. Both for you and PuffNoMore. We are stronger for quitting smoking and will rise to the the challenges with positive attitudes and our best foot forward. Our bodies are healing in the short time we have stopped giving it undue stress and toxins. Stay strong my friend and stay in touch.
