Hi Goodness. I know in the beginning that you were experiencing anxiety attacks and had a prescription for depression. Although you did not take them , you did try to find more natural remedies for other nicotine withdrawal symptoms. You even quit social media, as not to dwell on the pandemic situation. Have you found relaxation techniques? Meditation? Stress is not good for anyone. Tingling on the left should maybe be looked into. I hope it is nothing, but if it is meant as a warning, please heed it. I don't know your age or state of physical being. While nicotine withdrawal can manifest itself in many ways in some, don't ignore some signals. You were worried enough to write, please be worried enough to ask professional opinion.
You are doing great at 14 weeks. keep up the great work!

    Hi Happiness

I spoke to my GP this morning and has ordered some blood test as it could be a vitamin deficiency, the earliest appointment i got was in 2 weeks. As it happens today the tingling has begun to settle down and has not been as much today. How are you Happiness and I understand that you are all out of Lockdown how is the situation for you all. In Uk the situation is getting better we are in the phase 3. xx

Actually, I am doing well thank you Goodness. The world slowed down for me to catch up since my stroke in January. I am 95% recovered and feel great! I enjoy my morning walks and corresponding with another victim and of course helping others to find their freedom from smoking. I keep myself busy and am quite content although it will be nice to see friends and resume some activities.

I am glad you spoke to your GP. Health is priceless. I trust it is nothing, but answers will give you piece of mind. Stay safe and Stay smoke-free.

    Hi goodness786,
I have also experienced the same symptom, but not all the time. After more than two months I sometimes feel weakness in my left arm. I agree with Happiness - this could mean a lot of things depending on your physical condition, but probably is just your blood flow returning to normal (week 2 to week 12).

I have swelling in my feet & ankles and my left foot is definitely worse than the right, it also has a tingling sensation and itches like an insect bite!. This started about 3 weeks after quitting which was mid April 2020. I've seen the doctor who gave me water pills & support socks! Still no change so had a blood test that was PERFECT! Doctor is baffled and is sending me for a echo scan on my legs (veins). This will be the 27th of this month so will be interesting to see what the outcome is. Will let you know.

Hi Dizzy nanny and quell I hope everything is ok with you both, the symptoms seem to be less at the moment, thank you both for your reply, I feel it has something to do with me stopping smoking. Dizzy Nanny please keep us informed xx
