And yours too. Thank you for taking the time out today of all days to send your thoughts and wishes to us all. Just goes to show the bond we create here at ICANQUIT

Thanks Dabs. I remember you as being one of the first ones I followed and got to know about. You were always there with a word of encouragement for those in need. Everyone here deserves a great pat on the back , for they, unlike others have found the courage to look into ending a long time addiction. For those who come and make the effort, they will find that they can quit smoking. May no man or woman be left behind in this journey.

Merry Christmas to All. Stay Safe. Stay Free.

Thanks Dabs for your words of encouragement. It means alot. It is no surprise that most smokers cant let go of the habit until they really believe that they can handle some discomfort.
Did you have to develop a hatred for those filfy, expensive smokes or were you just ready to Quit?

at your age, i think you came to some conclusion that you were happy enough to call it Quits?
If you were half your age at 29, would you have the determination to have done what you have done?
    Just asking lol

Sadly, many people fear quitting, and younger ones feel that "it can't happen to me". Smoking is Russian roulette. With the mindset there is no pain thresh hold or tolerance necessary. There are a multitude of reasons to quit and absolutely none to continue smoking. All that is really necessary is to take your head out of the sand, shake the crap out of your eyes and focus them on the great life that you can have without nicotine ruling you and the tar strangling your lungs ability to function properly. The drug has affected your mind, and we offer solutions to clear the fug and see sense once again.

Being young doesn't mean you have money to burn. It is not what you spend today, but over the course of a lifetime. Choosing to be free of nicotine and controlling your own life or to waste your life on a total illusion is the real question.

Read and learn. Knowledge is power. We know you can quit. Find the faith and belief in yourself to make it happen. I had no cravings after 72 hours. What is the price of freedom these days?
