Thank you all so much for your support and also the encouragement I have received. I have quit. I say N.O.P.E. to cigarettes, Not One Puff Ever. One drag could start the whole habit over again. I quit 23 weeks ago. My hands are healing slowly. I have dry patches of skin.

I am so proud of your Penelopejane. You have been on this journey for a long time with stops along the way. I am glad that you finally got on the express bus and have arrived without further undue hardships. Now you can enjoy your life as a non-smoker and start concentrating on doing things you love to do. The healing process has already started and will continue to do so. Hopefully, you will soon be able to putter about in the garden that you love and spend time with family that i think you avoided during this time. Live life to the fullest Penelopejane. You deserve it and so much more. Great Job, just remember that NOPE mantra and enjoy life!

Hey great stuff penelopejane, from someone who had a hard time getting over 20 days to today 23 weeks ago. You have done really well, and it is only because you have read and looked and talked about it, without bottling it up inside yourself and the belief in yourself is so much stronger for it.

Congratulations and you know you can come back at any time.
