A must see video . Thanks for sharing NotThisTime. I had not seen this video, but had watched one and then a webinar i signed up for. Although i did not sign up for the course i do believe in it. This video was inspirational and very informative. I hope it helps others. Go to CBQ method of quitting smoking for some insights.

Allan Car also has a great book, audio videos for quit smoking.

    Thank you
It goes to show that by continually thinking of avoiding the cigarette 100 times or more times a day with the picture of a cigarette in our mind. Its always going to be a diificult Quit...I guess we should all try and keep busy and limit the yes no dialogue in our heads.

Nasia Davos is her name and I watched it twice. its all about psychology as usual. Our thinking is a very powerful tool. When we believe in anything we get a better result.
but aside from the psychology of not smoking we still have to deal with the physical side in our brains too! After years of smoking we have receptors that want nicotine to drop dopamine to feel good. As an ex smoker I do miss it. Hopefully we are all on the right track. The longer we dont smoke the easier this Quit should be

Hi Puffnomore I too am an ex smoker but I can honestly say I do not miss it. What is there to miss? The stealing of your money, health, time, self esteem? Not to mention the stench. Stay strong smoking is not your friend, and no you did not enjoy it you only think you did because you had to feed your addiction. I'm not judging you, just telling you the truth that the addiction did to us all. So ask yourself, what is there to miss? Can you honestly name one thing good smoking gave you? I know I can't.

I am sad that PuffNoMore is having a more difficult time of grasping the mindset. Rather then suffer needlessly, and still spend money on an NRT, even if you are down to just one inhaler now, why not take the money so far saved and read Allan Carr's book (order it if you can't get it at the library) or take Nadia's course on line. You owe it to yourself to he a happy non-smoker. That would be an awesome reward!
