First of all I want to thank everybody on this site, all of your stories and experiences have been a great support in embracing my new me. I'm 61 days smoke free, and I feel great, very proud of myself since I never thought I could be even for 1 day without my "best friends" jaja. For all of you just starting, never doubt, it gets easier every day.

I just read about the Law of Addiction, which we ex smokers should always have in mind to stay smoke free;

The Law of Addiction states, "Administration of a drug to an addict will cause re-establishment of chemical dependence upon the addictive substance."

    Hi Flamenco. Really like your research re what will tip an ex smoker over the edge. Simply once a smoker, always a smoker and therefore as you stated, "Administration of a drug to an addict will cause re-establishment of chemical dependence upon the addictive substance." Love it. At nearly 960 days smoke free I can readily state this is so true. Many of us have said exactly that over the many months I have been here. Never ceases to amaze me how many profound statements have been uttered on this site. Yours is yet another classic. Thanks for taking the time t share.
