11 months, going strong

Its been 11 months since I quit smoking, cold turkey. For anyone that is just starting their quit, please know it definitely gets better! The cravings diminish as time erases the memories of smoking. In the beginning, much time was spent a lot on this site and reading others stories that were stopping smoking. I found it encouraging to know what others were experiencing both good and bad. I found WendyOhNo postings to be particularly helpful as I was (am) approximately 3 months behind her quit. Even to today, I get strength knowing that she experienced a near relapse at 9 or 10 months but was able to NOT give in. Please read her postings as they contain a lot of helpful tips and insight.

One more month and I am a whole year! . although nothing in the future is ever 100%, I am very confident I will make it.
