I forgot to say in my post a few minutes ago that I know for a fact that I could not have done it without this site. There were a few hairy times when I was so close to caving in and I logged on to this site (in desperation) and re-read success stories. Only from doing that was I able to get my head back into the no smoking zone again.

    Hi Inidgo,

Congrats on 20 days! Yes! I cannot tell you how valuable these sites have been to me and many others when they are quitting smoking. First, they occupy the mind and second, they help you to understand that you are not alone. Just being able to mine the experiences of people all around the world was invaluable to me. Keeps up the good work!

You go girl :) 3 weeks, and don't it feel good :)
They say, that nicotine is out of your system in about 21 days... But, the real battle is in the mind, and you got this.. Nothing to miss, and nothing to WANT, or crave :) I also agree with the idea of not changing your routine. We just learn to do it without the smoke.. Quitting smoking is enough to do at one time.. Keep that mindset, and know that we were just slaves to a cigarette, and you will soon know that you are free, For good !

Hello Wendy and Red-67. Thank you for your words of encouragement. Today is Day 33 for me and I am really starting to feel pretty good, yes still some cravings but nothing I can't handle.

It's made me realise that I am mentally stronger that I thought I was and it was the cigarette that was persuading me that I couldn't do it. I have saved almost $700 so far and while that was never the main motivation, it is amazing to see the dollars come up each day in the quit smoking app that I am using.

Thanks again a million, I can never thank this site and all of you enough!
