I have begun...again

Posted in Getting started 26 Mar 2012

Hi Everyone,

Its been a while since i have been on here. I am now on Zyban, today is my quit date. Im feeling really good - i have to say, Zyban is working alot quicker than Champix has. I feel alot more confident when i am on medication such as Zyban (although this is my first try of Zyban). Its kicked in quite quickly, i have been on them for 5 days an i cannot stand smoking, it makes me feel sick, so i made today the day i quit as i ran out of smokes last night.

I have had no cravings today, at all, which is good - but its only lunch time. I have been walking and drinking lots of water, just like the first time i tried an was doing really well.

I have a plan not give in to the little voice in my head that made me give in an smoke when i drank. I am an ex-smoker an cannot give in to temptation no matter how strong i believe i am.

The Gym an Pool in my complex have opened an i like the idea that ill have something to do thats also positive for myself. I notice that i get edgy an need to do something so gym an the pool will be a great distraction.

Wish me luck! :)
