For all the newbies, you can do it but you need to get real and be honest with yourself. You have an addiction, not just a habit as non smokers like to say but a full on drug addiction. You may shake your head at 'drug addicts' and think wow I wouldn't ever do Meth, Heroin etc, face the facts - you do Nicotine and its addictive.
When quitting you will get angry, depressed, cry screech, laugh, want to punch people, walls and anything that gets in your way. You may offend people, hate the world, hate yourself and ask yourself 'why' over and over again. BUT then the changes come and you feel pride, feel in control, you don't stink, your cravings reduce ( they flare up so beware but they again go away) you have more money, you have so much time on your hands and surprisingly you are OK, better thank that you are GREAT.
You MUST WANT to do it for yourself and be 100% committed or it wont work. You MUST be MENTALLY STRONG as it will screw with your head in ways you cannot imagine but it IS so worth it.
I believe in going into things informed and aware, it helps when you hit the potholes because you were expecting them.
I believe if your committed you CAN do this and this site will be your lifeline.
