Well done to everyone on there amazing journey. I have read all the stories. I am 37 days and have lost counting. Pregnancy doing great and excited. I hope everyone succeeds in there non smoking life. I am feeling healthier.
31 days smoke free and found out im pregnant. wow. my husband and i so happy. At least i can say my baby is going to be smoke free as well. What great timing. My will power is as strong as it will ever be seeing i have an even bigger reason not to go back to smoking. Its amazing what will power can do.
Day 24 and feel great. I am addicted to chewing gum. Eating heaps. I even went and had a game of tennis with the family today and i felt great. I need to burn off them pizza nights anyway. I can actually do physical activities and not be dizzy and puffed out. what a difference i am feeling.
2 weeks cold turkey and i feel like i have finally done it. Got through the hard yards and now its just mental cravings. Wow. It does get a little easier. I do have times of the day where i have to take a few deep breathes but i finally got to where i am now. And for some reason everytime i go out in public everyone is smoking!!!! My willpower is getting stronger. Well done to everyone.
I am pleased to say im on day 8. I am dealing with cravings by eating. But thats better than smoking. I am having problems sleeping. Is this a normal withdrawal and also how long until i get some sleep? I am still in the process of retraining the brain to deal with stresses instead of reaching for that smoke. Its all about finding another coping mechanism. Also i have a sore mouth. Like ulcers. I...
This is my 3rd day cold turkey after smoking for 20years and at least 30 cigarettes a day. Owch... its hurting in every muscle. My body is tense. The headaches finally subsiding. The withdrawals are extreme. Is it going to get easier?
