So this is now the 4-5th time I have quit smoking, and hopefully the last... I just woke up one day and said no I don't want to smoke anymore. slapped on a patch smoked 5 smokes that day, 3 smokes the next day & two the day after.. then I just quit.. this is the first time I have felt positive about quitting.. I am now 12 days smoke free.. from someone who smoked a ack of 30's a day t...
I was once a regular poster here about how great i was going off the smokes..
Now ive been smoking again for about 6 months.. have attempted champix again but they were unsuccessful this time..
How did you do it? I really want to quit but i work, go to work placement and study full time.. its all a bit overwhelming!
So I quit 157 days ago.. this last week has been so awful, (work stresses) and I have smoked about 15 smokes in a week, last night alone I smoked 5, drank 3 cans and cried.. I want to take them back up.. How do I avoid this.. has anyone else had this experience? what did you do?
Cheers in advance..
How we all doing?
So I'm 66 days smoke free today, it was a struggle to quit and stay quit for the first month but now its become a lot easier, I have been exercising regularly at the gym which helps take away frustration that smokes would usually take away!
I did have my slip up in the first month for grand final but have not touched a smoke since, (and I got super sick that n...
Good Morning all,
How are we all going? I haven't posted for awhile so I thought I would give you all a update. I am now 34 days smoke free. I am feeling awesome, I can breathe properly, I am smelling and tasting things so much more. Quitting smoking really worried me about putting on weight, because I put on 10kg last time!! But instead I have been working out and have lost 7cm! So I super h...
Hey ladies & gents
This will be the last of my daily entry's as I'm starting to forget to do each entry haha
I will just post on milestones or if I need help!
Day eleven - I had an ok sleep, I’m starting to only wake up a couple times now and managing to fall asleep reasonably fast again, still need to buy those new pillows! Today was a crappy day though… I was very irritable, and very sna...
This isn't one of my daily posts, I will do that on Monday :)
But today is day 13, but yesterday.. I had the worst day at work, almost walked out crying of frustration a few times. Then I had a argument with my partner because we had both had a bad day, and I spat it, (I have a pretty bad temper, hence why I took the champix instead of cold turkey) I picked up a smoke, had about 4 puffs it was...
The days have been getting easier
Day 6 - Last night way by far my worst ever sleep!! I was up and down all night... Tossing and turning.. I honestly thought I was going to get a great sleep because I was so tired... My day wasn’t too bad though, it was alright. I was very tired but didn’t seem to get snippy with anyone.
Day 7 - Things are starting to seem a lot easier now, I have made ...
So I'm going to share about how I've found each day so far, as I have a quit experience journal going on so I can see how things change. and hopefully its helpful so someone :) It's been a very difficult few days but I think the hardest bit is over. I have gone from smoking 25+ smokes a day to none, if I can do it you can to :)
Day one - was the easiest, it was a Sunday, so I hibernated at...
I'm day two off the smokes, I have been on Champix and just decided to put them down. I have had a headache all day, and a crappy nights sleep last night, other then that I think I'm doing okay. I work in admin and I'm finding it difficult to concerntrate, I'm slightly irritable but unsure if this is due to, the headache, the lack of sleep or being off them smokes, or all of the ...
