Today marks 1186 days & approximately 22,000 less cigarettes smoked.
I can't believe just how fast this time has gone.
I started my journey not knowing if I would succeed & I'm proud to say that I did!
It has gotten easier & easier & I know I will never, ever go back.
Sure there are still days & I've heard it will last a lifetime, that I could certainly go for one but that feeling is just a...
It only seems like yesterday I posted my One Year On story & here I am into my second year already. It has gone so amazingly fast & easy peasy!
No lie though, I still feel like one every so often & the smell of someone lighting up is just wonderful but that urge lasts just a second or two & I go about my day as an ex smoker (I don't like to refer to myself as a non smoker. I believe a no...
Hard to fathom just how unbelievably fast this has gone!
Whilst I can’t say this whole challenge has been totally rewarding with having to fight off demons & jump big hurdles, I’m so proud of myself that I made this life changing decision not only for myself but my family as well & I stuck to it…..yay for me!

I stopped taking the evening dose 3 weeks ago & didn't notice any change which was a good sign.
Just want to find out now from others that have completed the course & whether or not you noticed you any significant changes after stopping or ...
30 days today & going strong! So proud of myself.
Had my first taste of alcohol in 5 weeks on Friday evening. Have been so worried to have a drink for fear of it bringing on a big craving, but happy to say I didn't have any at all. It was such a nice feeling not having to waste time wallking outside all too often to have a puff. I was watching the people out there & fell quite sorry for them ...
Coming to the end of Day 3 on Champix & I have to say that I'm finding this frightfully easy at the moment. Seems too good to be true.
Having been a 20 a day smoker for 32 years I thought it was going to be really tough! I only ever tried giving up once before & that was about 28 years ago. I ended up deciding though that rather than give up completely I would just become a ‘social smoker’ & h...
