210 days today....still going strong. Loving life as a non smoker.
Anyone out there that thinks they can’t do this......you are wrong......anyone can do this.
Come on.....kick that expensive, disgusting habit and be free.
Yay 6 months today....but I don’t have time to lay about feeling great about myself. Reese and Leanne are close behind me and breathing down my neck...lol. But I am proud of how well we have all done so far....next big celebration will be 12 months quit. Can’t wait for that one. Thanks everyone who kept me on my game, especially Red67 who’s advice and common sense approach to quitting was...
NRT or NOT
150 days since stopping smoking. Thanks to everyone on here for your support and inspiration....I could not have done it without you! Hardest decision of my life....best decision of my life. I was a s5upid smoker for 48 years and I really wish I had given them up years and years ago...but....better late than never. Stay strong and don’t ever give in....there is too much to lose!
Hi fellow quitters,
I have hit the four month mark and still going strong. The main thing that I have learnt on my journey so far is...it is more mental than anything else. If you are not ready in your mind it makes it all so much harder. Stay strong mentally and focused and you will win the fight.
Best thing I ever decided to do for myself.
3 months ago I started my journey...it has been the best thing I could do for myself. I have learnt a lot about myself in this past 3 months. I am tougher and more resilient than I thought. I really never thought I could do this or that I would ever really want to...that is how enslaved I was to smoking. But now I am amazed at how just a different mindset has set me free of it all. I know that I ...
Hi All, still on my life journey. I have been reading a lot of posts on here and many people are losing their way at times. I also have to reinforce why I chose this journey and what I want the outcome to be. My outcome desire is the same as yours....to stop smoking forever !! Some days are harder than others....but I have found if I do not dwell on it and I move my mind on to other things...it p...
Still on my journey and still going strong. This journey has been so much easier, thanks to Red67, who taught me the mindset. I am unable to put into words how valuable that advice has been. Looking forward to the next chapter of my smoke free life. Stay strong everybody and beat this horrible addiction.
Well I am at 47 days now and still going well. Have had a couple of cravings this week but it has been a stressful week. However I have managed to not focus on the craving and hold fast to my determination to never smoke again. After all a smoke wont make my week any less stressful will it? Keep going everyone and don’t look back, just keep pushing forward....so worth it.
Well here I am again at 40 days quit and still going strong. Something I have noticed is I always seemed to feel a little stressed when I was smoking but since quitting I actually feel calmer than ever. I seemed to be more relaxed for some reason. This has been the best decision I have made on so many levels. Keep going everyone, NOPE....not one puff ever.
