    Right, it's now just over 7 days since I quit and no, we aren't having fun yet. Still sleeping most of the day away, things still taste like crap and everything smells rancid. I'm headachey and extremely angry. Little things are really getting to me. The craving for nicotine is worse today than previously and it has been getting worse since day 3. Life has no enjoyment in it at the moment....

    The First Few Days

    OK so I"m now just over 3.5 days into my quitting smoking and its not going like I expected. I did expect the cravings to be much worse than they are, but so far they are bearable although today is the worst of it. Several weird things though, I'm incredibly sleepy and nod off all the time.     Its all about the money

    The only reason I am giving up is because of the extreme amount of taxation that cigarettes have on them. Yes I know tax hasn't always been this high but lets assume it goes on at ONLY the level its at now. For every cigarette I smoke, I give the government 48c Yep you heard that right.
