My key motivation if you like to give up smoking was increased energy. I haven’t smoked for 3 weeks and have no intention of returning to smoking. However- my main motivation hasn’t transpired and isn’t true- i have less energy and I am exhausted.

These books give advice on self care in that have something for yourself, a gift put yourself first for once. Many of can’t justify or motivate if it’s not for someone else or a cause outside of ourselves. Giving up smoking can be just that your own private space even nirvana these...
I find it useful not to dwell or ruminate in thoughts of smoking- in effect remove it from my mind.
Eat sleep watch tv cook do anything to push the thoughts out of your mind.

I decided to go cold Turkey. 22 years 20-30 a day smoker. Two weeks in to quit no coughing at all no runny nose. However extreme bouts of fatigue pretty much daily constant brain fog and distraction. Ravenous appetite and occasional optimism for bouts of energy before fatigue crash.
