Well, I reached 100 today. I did have a slip up last week, but I am NOT going to restart my count. It has been both easy and hard, mostly not too difficult tough. I will keep trying to do the good work and if there is anything great to share, I will revisit the site. I hope you, Nannettte, my buddy, will keep hanging in there as well......Good luck everyone!
Day 90.....yoohoo. I had a few difficult days, but I am back on track, trying to catch up to Nannette, my quit buddy. It's fantastic to have a quit buddy. I have always found Nannette's posts so positive, so I just asked her. We have never met, but we are both resolved to stay quit!!!!!
Having stopped is not "woe is me" having stopped is "yippee!!!!"
I am almost on day 90. I am not saying I have have had no cravings. I am not saying it has been easy. But gee, I do not need to find smoking places anymore. I do not fret about smoking anymore. I am now 61 days smokefree!!!!! I cannot believe it...no more smoking for two whole months.
I'm back! Hope everyone is still on track with quitting the stinky sticks. We had our son's wedding, which was fabulous and I didn't smoke. We had loads of parties and I didn't smoke. Also had some horrible news and I didn't smoke. This does not mean, I did not feel tempted at times....but I am now 57 days smokefree. If I can do it, anyone can.....How are you Nannette?
I wasn't going to post for a couple of weeks until my son got married, but I wanted to see how Nannette was doing, so I thought I'd post. I have been smoke free for 33 days today. Cold turkey. I've had my moments, and my worst moment is coming home from work or shopping and having a smoke before starting dinner, or doing chores. I do not have so much trouble being around other smokers, because ...
I am staying on track everyone, but Imam very busy preparing a smoke-free wedding for my son. I will probably not be posting for a couple of weeks. Keep strong everyone and stay away from the stinky weed!!!!!! See you all soon. I am looking forward to a really lovely month of September with lots of celebrations, love and friends.
