Day 1 of my life changing journey. Have my journal at hand with all my affirmations, reasons, goals, etc - have pages printed out from online quit kit posted up all around the house. Kids have been forewarned that I'm probably going to be a bit narky for a few days .... giving up both cigs and alcohol (HelloSundayMorning). I'm actually quite excited (but it is only 11 am). ...
I am going to put in 100% effort to give up (not just smoking but also drinking). It's been a crutch for me for 11 years now after my hubbie died. The kids lost their father to leukaemia - they have been begging me to quit. I need to provide a better life for us - for health, financial and self esteem.
