I've found that if I get complacent about people smoking around me I find myself craving and thinking about smoking! I live with a smoker who kindly moved the smoking to the outdoors once I quit.
I will ask any ask him to move his cigarette away from me if I'm sitting with him. If the main door is left open and smoke is wafting in the house I will ask the door to be closed every time. I used to ...
In any stressful situation I improve how I manage smoke free. I used to smoke when I was stressed and now I can get a strong craving for a moment but acknowledge the hard work it took to quit. Take a few breaths and clear my mind. Craving dissapears and I feel proud of myself that I've stayed smoke free. Don't let stress get to you as an excuse to start again. There will always be stress! It's ho...
Smoke-free for one year and three months! I've started working at a location that I worked when I was a smoker. I avoid all smokers areas! I don't even look in that direction if I have to walk near it. Unavoidably i'm always walking past people on the footpath having a smoke. I hold my breath as much as possible and remind myself of the hard work I've done to finally quit. It visually looks famil...
I have posted when prompted via email and when I do I get a reply from someone promoting a witch putting spells for a fee. I want to share my story but have be made to feel uncomfortable getting these replies. I have tried to inform the icanquit messages. Not sure what to do!
I've been smoke free for one year today. I set a date a year ago and stuck to it.
I live in a smoke free home which makes all the difference!
I get cravings every now and then and remind myself the journey I've been on to quit. Not worth even thinking about smoking.
I'm very proud of my effort!
I have been successful in being a non-smoker for almost 3 months. I am reducing the quitmist naturally. Planning to use it for as long as I need. I feel healthier and am no longer scared I'm going to get a smoking related disease the ads talk about.
I'm on day 55 smoke free! Very exciting.
I've been using quickmist for cravings and am finding myself using it less. I've bought my next 3pk of quickmist today. I wonder if this will be the last lot I'll need. I'm looking forward to not relying on any NRT product but I will definitely use it for as long as necessary so I can do this quitting thing right.
I've stopped using the 14mg patches I've been using, six days ago. I'm still using quickmist to help with cravings. Feeling confident I'm on the right track. Taking it a day at a time. One day I'll not need the quickmist. For now I do and will use it for as long as I need it. I've been expecting myself to get off the NRT products asap but I've learnt it is much more important to not smoke and tha...
