Whenever I would leave the house, I'd make sure that I'd have everything before going. I would say to myself "Wallet, phone, keys, smokes, lighter" They were the 5 things I needed with me at all times, everything else didn't matter.

I celebrated 6 months yesterday. I'm extremely pleased with the progress that I've made and have grown significantly over the last six months. I am not the same person that I was then and that is extremely liberating. It has encouraged me to illicit change elsewhere in my life and given me the strength to know that I can do (almost)anything.
Played golf for the first time as a non smoker. Played with a buddy who still smokes and found the experience the same. Previously I could smoke anywhere between 6-12 cigarettes over a 3-4 hour period. It was another positive association with smoking that I was concerned about how quitting will affect it.

Today is five months without a smoke. It's an exceptional length of time and the longest I've ever gone without a cigarette since I was 16. I keep having this recurring dream where I am smoking.
