I had tried everything , patches, gum , hypnotism, cold turkey until one day I got to the point of lighting up, smoking a quarter and throwing it away. I hated myself, I hated cigarettes, I hated everything about the control I was under. A mate of mine gave me Allan Carrs book "Quit Smoking the Easy Way" it took me ten days to read it and by the end I'd realised, I hadn't had a cigarette in two d...

Well, my heart was hurting, went to cardialogist & he ran a stress tess. I failed miserably, on to a Cath. 2 top arteries blocked 85 & 95%

I am on my 23rd day of no cigarettes. The reason i quit was completely based on mental health. i want to quit so i can save money to buy things i couldnt afford before
Its time to stop. I have grandchildren and i want to see Australia. I HAVE to do this.

No coffee, no wine, just NRT lozenges. Snacking & drinking water is helpful, and like one of the other quitters said, it’s surprising how much one can eat if it’s healthy food, like raw veggies. Off to the gym.
I have finally made a commitment to stop. I smoke 40 a day and how I breathe now scares me.

I tried many times and now can say it was the best thing I have ever done. I smoked for over 30 years and probably 30 a day and am now angry with myself for wasting 30 years and so much money and now i know, IT WAS SO EASY!
Once you make the decision all ...
After being diagnosed with being borderline COPD more than 3 years ago and just quit 5 months now, i was afraid to go to the doctors for a physical. No doubt that I felt great even after a few weeks of quitting and had no more breathlessness episodes, but i was concerned that i did not cough black tar out of my lungs as expected. Everyone is different, but i can feel more power in my lungs to exp...
