Being a 10 a day smoker for 40 years, I'm really proud of myself for holding on for 26 days now. As we all know it is a struggle especially smoking for that long. But holding on with patches of course. What has motivated me... family and money. Family... want to be around if grandkids come along. Money... saved $420 so far (that's crazy). Its time to stop. I have grandchildren and i want to see Australia. I HAVE to do this.
Well, this is like my 7th try I think. I just look back sometimes when I was not smoking and I wonder how on earth did I agree to this bad habit. If I stayed so many years without smoking in my life, why can't I be like that again?! Anyway, will see how this time goes :)

I am 58 years old and smoked for 43 years of that, smoked between 15 to 30 a day. Tried many times to give up prior without success.
