I've tried several ways of quitting. This time I have consulted my GP and I am going down the prescription method.

Since my last post, at my 6 week celebration, my first ever grandbaby has been born. 9 pound 3 ounce healthy baby boy.
His other grandma is a smoker. Glad I don't have to worry about my smell, or about my cleanliness, or about having to leave the premises and move away from him for whole minutes to answer the slavemaster's call.

Hello everyone 🙂 im glad to say that im now 27 days smokefree, cold turkey 👍
In the beginning it really was horrible..
Night sweats, irritable , and pretty horrible insomnia.. first three days are the worst it gets physically after that its just mind over matter in my experience anyway..
The reasons i feel i had to quit were..
1. The money!! I was spending upto 25-35 dollars daily..
How do I get started? first day of not smoking and it scared to start, I know I want to give up. I believe a really good reason to quit now is that there are just so many open possibilities to explore once you do.
First of all, you save money. You can spend it on whatever you actually want or need. It is a good experience having so much money in the bank when you really need something.

Hi I had stop smoking because for my health and money. So been asking my doctor help me but it took him 5years to help me. So three weeks ago he gave me nicotinell lozenges to help me. I started on 4 a day or every 2hours and now three weeks later I have fully stopped smoking I feel very good with myself . Gary
