Well, this is like my 7th try I think. I just look back sometimes when I was not smoking and I wonder how on earth did I agree to this bad habit. If I stayed so many years without smoking in my life, why can't I be like that again?! Anyway, will see how this time goes :)
...is what I’ll call the craving. Had a wine last night, at home by myself, and smoked 3 cigarettes...aaargh! Didn’t even enjoy the second 2. Throwing them away and starting again today. No coffee, no wine, just NRT lozenges. Snacking & drinking water is helpful, and like one of the other quitters said, it’s surprising how much one can eat if it’s healthy food, like raw veggies. Off to the gym.
I have finally made a commitment to stop. I smoke 40 a day and how I breathe now scares me.
Making the decision to give up is the only decision that needs to be made. You have to want it but once you do the rewards are amazing.

Today I went to a check up appointment for my dental cyst. They said that I should have a procedure removing it after all - dental cystostomy. I can't stop but wonder if me smoking is the reason it all started happening in the first place, but I'm sure it made it worse. So now, with two teeth less and one 'surgery' more I'm laughing at my old self - I started smoking because of stress... Treat yo...
