I didn't know what section to put this request in on this forum? I will be on 10 days without a cigarette but tomorrow is my Birthday and I usually go out with some family and friends. Bit of anxiety there, but I am looking forward to it also. Coming home and the let down of not celebrating with a cigarette is in my mind at the moment, so I need some ideas/help for tomorrow. Thanks
When I told myself that cigarettes were not friends it was easier to turn my back on them. Tip was given to me by Quitline person. I would get stressed then the internal dialogue was. No they won't help me they're hurting me and then I'd ring someone who'd care. Quit 12 years ago and won't go back I don't go back to bad friends Good luck choose an internal dialogue that works for you😀
