I have just signed up today with the goal of reducing and then going cold turkey.
One concern that came up for me is what impact would this have on my body and I was hoping that you all may have some tips on what foods and/or supplements may help my body with the change of becoming a non-smoker?

Hi Everyone, I was chatting with a friend the other day and she said something about smoking that I felt was a great point to share. We used to smoke because smoking was a very social thing to do.....however these days smoking is just plain lonely.
So if you don’t want to be lonely....you don’t want to isolate yourself from others....you don’t want to feel shame.....stop smoking
I'm stunned at how few resources there are in Australia to support people who want to quit smoking - this website is the most i could find, and its not really a forum but more for people to put a few 'stories' here and there.
We have the world's most expensive cigarettes! though all the government websites/resources are shallow and hollow.
Any recommendations for podcasts or YouTube channels for quit smoking journeys? For those sleepless nights :)
How's is everybody doing with the no smoking journey.
It's a hard one to beat but you can do it with the right mindset.
I'm 128 days smoke free. Had 2 slip up over a month ago but that was it.
It does get easier as time go's on.

It's great to not have that small lingure around me anymore or in my hair and clothes.
My partner is much happier and proud of me that I have come this far and continue to be a non smoker.

Think about your reasons for quitting as this leads to motivation then be determined. My doctor told me motivation is all that is needed to quit, i agree if the reason is big enough (throat cancer ect..) yes for sure that would motivate just about everyone. Hi all I'm not sure why but I'm craving badly as we speak I'm doing all I can to beat this craving but this 1 well it's a hard 1. I so t want 1 and I will not smoke 1 but serious big craving right now.
Hello everyone my cravings are quite high tonight I dont know why. I am keeping busy by coming onto this site and reading stories and comments and commenting on stories and now writing a post.
