It seems that some, including myself, are having trouble posting, since the change.. I also think, the first thing we should see, is the latest post, not top stories. The way it was. It was simple, clean, and easy to use. We have a saying, here in the States,, IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT.. :)
We appreciate what you do, but sometimes, it is best to leave things as they are..
Well one year to the day since I quit. Not going to say it's been all good.Slipped up over Xmas and had 3 smokes.I Vomited immediately and felt really I'll for the whole day.Nothing since then but some days I feel like one but wouldn't. Nearly 50 years of smoking and my lungs are clear and I have more money lol.I used strong Nicotine patches for 3 months and that was it.I know how everyone is fe...
I have a very hectic life very stressful which I would always head straight for a smoke and I don’t want to replace smokes with food.
I’m just wondering how people work through basically life’s challenges how they have worked through it especially in the first couple of days. Please I would love to hear from your experiences
Here are my most effective ways I combat urges to smoke:
1. Chew toffee or a treat that’ll take some time to eat. Chewing gum is fine.
2. Think about the consequences of smoking and the fact that lung cancer is the deadliest type of cancer
3. If you’re a guy... masturbate. No I’m not kidding. It’s gonna get your mind completely off it and give you the dopamine your brain so desperately needs....
I'm have quit with Champix and this is my 12th day of being smoke free today. I'd like to share some of my methods with you. If one of them helps a single person I'm happy.
1. I've written the reasons why I want to quit on the inside of my fingers. So every time I get a craving I read: Health, kids, longevity, money.

Day 1 and I can’t hold a thought for more than a few seconds, except the thought that I’d like a smoke! I remember when my dad quit years ago. He’d stare out the window with a glass of juice in his hand instead of a cig. I’m replacing each cig with a glass of water, focusing on how clean and refreshing it feels going down.
Hi new quitters! Congrats are getting this far in your quit. I often see new quitters ask when it will get better. My pro opinion (and at 32 months I’m allowed to have one) is that things start to mentally improve on Day 8. Day one is fairly easy. Day two makes you wonder if you can do this. Day three is the WORST because your brain just figured out what’s going on. Day four your brain is hav...
Just thought I would try to help a few of the people who have posted Llanelli about their struggles with quitting. We keep saying it and that is because it is key to quitting happily.
Your mindset is a very powerful tool...and you can use it to aid in quitting more easily.
Be happy that you have quit...be happy that you have been smart enough to kick that habit out of your life. A lot ...

I didn't know what section to put this request in on this forum? I will be on 10 days without a cigarette but tomorrow is my Birthday and I usually go out with some family and friends. Bit of anxiety there, but I am looking forward to it also. Coming home and the let down of not celebrating with a cigarette is in my mind at the moment, so I need some ideas/help for tomorrow. Thanks
