Hi everyone! 👋
We’re excited to launch a brand new community challenge this March: The Big Quit.
It's 31‑day smoke‑ and vape‑free challenge where people can opt-in and go through the month together with daily encouragement and community support.
We're inviting ICQ members new and old to sign up - whether you're quitting or already quit.
If you’re keen to join, thinking about it, or just here to read and learn, we’d love to hear from you:
- What do you think of a 31‑day challenge like this - does it feel helpful for you?
- Will you sign-up? If yes, what’s making you want to give it a go? If not (or not sure yet), what’s holding you back?
- If you do join, what’s one small thing you might do to get ready before Day 1?

I am already on a quit, three days and have been preparing for this quit for I don't know how long, I hope it's the big one. I have used the Quitline counsellors and they have been very helpful, and a chat group I have been on for years to cement and confirm my attitude to smoking. I have been smoking for 46 years and I have been suffering from some adverse health effects. I live in a house full of smokers and need to break free. Thanks for this opportunity to join the March Quit.
